RELEX Solutions provides a SaaS solution that optimizes retail logistics and other related functionalities. To make this possible, the software requires a large computing capacity. In practice, this introduces a need for hundreds of servers that are hosted in globally distributed DCs. The talk provides a brief overview, how RELEX leverages Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ansible in order to automate configuration management of the servers, as well as an outlook on how that will potentially change in the future.
